We are looking for a position (Electrical Estimation Engineer) to work in an engineering company .

Location: Jordan & KSA

Requirements and Qualifications: 

·        Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

·        08 - 10years of previous experience in Electrical Estimation(MV, LV, ELV)

·        Awareness of estimating processes for MEP works.

·        Must be able to read building plans and have knowledge of all Electrical specifications.

·        Review and study Electrical system designs and prepare the designs as per the requirement of the company and prepare quotations and estimate cost for procuring the same and able to completely estimate the cost involved in procurement, installation and maintenance of Electrical system.

·        Well conversant in Computerized Bill of Quantity generation, estimation, cost and rate analysis, Preparation of Contract Documents and all other related activities. Knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Projects is essential.

·        Able to read and understand tender documents (Specification/drawings/pricing preamble, BOQ, condition of contract).

·        Create Mech quotes from blueprints and drawings that meet project requirements, specifications regarding materials, labor, subcontractors, equipment and schedule.

·        Able to perform take off quantities from drawings.

·        Prepare/ send inquires to suppliers, Sub Contractors and obtaining appropriate quotations.

·        Familiar with work schedule & material submittal preparation based on tender documents.

·        Able to prepare definition of scope of work.

·        Able to negotiate best terms from suppliers / sub-contractors.

·        Able to price items in the Bill of Quantities or making buildup rates.

·        Familiar with prevailing market rates.

·        Familiar with SEC& Saudi Building codes & Standards 

·        Calculating a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit, and presenting a tender price. 

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with team members

·        Fluent in English Language (writing, reading, conversation). Arabic language is an added value.

·        Transferable Iqama is a must.
