Job Description
Deploys and configures new application software and updates as required, including but not limited to web applications, web services, mobile applications, windows services and scheduled tasks.,Reviews/validates deployment plans/pipelines in support of company SDLC,Reviews/validates deployment plans/pipelines in support of company SDLC.,Implement and configure software necessary to manage development life cycle, included but not limited to development requests, QA testing, approvals and release/deployment history,Creates Master test plan for the software releases and defines overall testing,Sets up the Test management tools for Requirements traceability, test plans, test labs and defects management.,Performs all aspects of verification including functional, regression and system testing.,Plans, deploys and manages the testing effort for Projects / release,Owns and manages the testing activities of multiple applications or releases,Previous experience installing and configuring operating systems and software,Understanding of basic networking concepts - IP addressing, DHCP, DNS,Work with the Configuration team to maintain a release repository; manage key artifacts to include build and release procedures and dependencies,Work closely with the Technical Operations and System Engineer teams to understand impacts of branches and code merges as well as environment set up activities,Strong knowledge in Single Sign-On (SSO) & basic authentication approaches such as Active Directory.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in computer science, Computer engineering with minimum 4-6 years of experience in related field,Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and deployment/operational considerations,Knowledge in different database & middleware technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft, & open source types.,Working knowledge of iOS/Android/Windows/ Linux,Understanding of Mobile Device Management System,Understanding of iOS Configurator,Android tablet experience,Familiarity with the following languages(Java , Python),Experience in Desktop/laptop troubleshooting,Experience of working with source code control tools like Git, Mercurial or SVN,Experience and understanding of Dev-ops, Agile and SAFE a plus,experience in Deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes,Experience with operating system internals, filesystems
