About the job
MedNet Jordan is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic HR Manager to join the team and to be overall responsible for the local HR function in Jordan. Together with the regional HR team which is spread across the Middle East and in alignment with the regional HR governance framework, some of your main accountabilities include the following:

 

Your Job:

 

Support the development and ensure the delivery of regional HR initiatives, HR strategy as well as drive improvement and implementation of HR guidelines and procedures in the local entities
Build strong partnerships with people managers at MedNet Jordan concerning all areas of the HR function to help embed our people practices and have a clear understanding of the business to support management in achieving strategic goals
Provide advice and counselling to employees on job-related issues in line with the local labour law and the regional HR governance framework. Support our people managers in resolving employee grievances to mitigate any risk to business or organisation.
Together with the business leaders, develop and seek approval for the annual manpower and recruitment plan in line with MedNet Jordan’s HR resource requirements in order to support the achievement of the business objectives
Together with the regional and local Recruitment teams, be responsible for recruiting and hiring up to middle management level, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting qualified candidates meeting the position requirements, doing referral checks, negotiating employment terms with suitable candidates, making the initial offer within given guidelines and support people managers to onboard new joiners
Lead the effective implementation and administration of MedNet Jordan’s reward management approach and manage the administration of the local Performance Management approach in line with the regional HR governance framework in order to promote a performance driven culture in MedNet Jordan, supporting our people managers in providing effective feedback to motivate high performers and improve poor performers
Work with our people managers to ensure that engaging career development plans are developed and implemented for our employees and talents, i.e. support in evaluating training requirements of the employees, advise on potential assignment opportunities that will provide unique opportunities to build experience and skills. For this purpose, also identify third party training providers, training courses or implement customized trainings, in alignment with the regional Talent Lead
Lead and/or support business leaders in key organisational change management initiatives (Organisational culture change, business process re-engineering, re-organisations)
Prepare and recommend the HR budget for MedNet Jordan and ensure all activities are carried out in accord with the approved budget.



:  Your Profile

 

Bachelor degree in HR Management or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years overall HR management experience in a similar sector, preferably in the Insurance industry with experience in managing a small HR team
Well-rounded capability across the full HR spectrum (recruitment, development and training, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent management, succession planning) including Change Management experience
Knowledge of Jordan’s social security and labour laws as well as knowledge of global best practices in HR management
Convincing, assertive and able to make decisions with a high customer focused attitude
Structured, analytical and results oriented approach with good problem-solving skills
Very good interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and mentor others, and respecting confidentiality of all information received
Excellent written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and Arabic
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point; experience in implementing payroll systems would be an advantage
